In collaboration with mixed media artist Anna Baer, I proudly present the first Bad Betty collection.

Let me tell you a little about Bad Bettys. They are the epitome of collaboration and upcycling. Even as a brilliant artist Anna Baer sometimes makes paintings that don’t work out as one big, cohesive canvas painting. But there are many beautiful corners and nooks where paint and talent met canvas and created lush beauty. I upcycled these ‘‘bad’’ canvases into wearable art: Bad Bettys.

The face of the Betty is bad art (paint does not run, come off in rain, or leave marks on clothing), the back is upcycled leather, and the lining is upcycled cotton. Two sets of hands worked on each of these bags to create absolutely unique, one-of-a-kind, upcycled wearable art. This Betty is bad and she doesn’t care who knows it.

Bad Betty Patchwork Troublemaker measures 16cm deep and is made with a 25cm black zipper. She is made with black leather on the back. The biodegradable black cotton strap measures approximately 1 meter long. (If you need a longer strap please message me. I am happy to custom make one for your measurements) The avocado pink lining is 100% cotton.
